  • Shipping: The shipping was free and fast. I ordered on Friday and received my hair on the following Wednesday.
  • Vendor Customer Service: For my first time purchasing hair online working with this company was a great experience. When I say I emailed them and they answered me within 3 minutes I am not lying. I emailed the company because after being all excited and purchasing the hair I realized there was no options on the hair color, so I simply asked what color it would be and they answered 1B natural. I received the hair within three business days and I also received a V.I.P card for discounts on future purchases. (Photos show packaging, the items came in a DHL bubble wrap parcel)
  • Pros: I loved the customer service, how fast the hair came, and the quality.
  • Cons: If I knew what I know now I would not have purchased Virgin Brazilian hair, while it amazing it is at the lower end of Virgin hair, there are so many better ones such as Malaysian, or Peruvian. I like them better because the wefts are usually a little bit thicker and hair is a silkier texture.
  • Recommendation: If its your first time trying a virgin hair this is a great place to start. If your looking for high, high end hair, look, or feel, I recommend Peruvian, for curly hair I recommend Malaysian.

Cure for Your DRY Virgin Hair!

Cure your DRY Virgin Hair!

I BOILED MY HAIR!!!!!!!!

That's right! You read right!

The worst part about this being my first time having virgin hair was the fact that three weeks after I did my install I noticed that the ends started to become EXTREMELY dry. At this point I started thinking that I got a bad batch or bad hair period until I did my research and found out that this actually a common problem. I did some more research, found a solution and acted on it and.....IT WORKED. What did I do???

Here are the things you will need and the steps:

  • Two rubber bands or hair ties
  • 2 towels
  • Your favorite conditioner or deep conditioner
  • A comb
  • Saucer and water
  • Silicone based serum
CAUTION: Please be careful it is boiling hot water! Be sure you have all supplies and that you are completely set up before continuing! You will feel the steam on your face, I don't recommend putting anything over your face that can fall into the pot or fire! The steam is hot but bearable.

*Before performing these steps you should be sure to wash the hair with a paraben and sulfate free shampoo and then condition.
  1. Separate your hair into two pigtail on each side of your head and place in ties.
  2. Put about two cups of water in a saucer and bring it to a boil.
  3. Once the water comes to a boil add about a tablespoon of conditioner. (I used my Organix)
  4. Place both towels over your shoulder making sure that you can grab either pigtail and cover it COMPLETELY with the towels.
  5. Now place one pigtail in to the boiling water for about 30-60 secs for up to 2 minutes if you can stand it.
  6. Remove the pigtail CAREFULLY and place it in the towel over your shoulder. Cover it completely making sure to squeeze as much water out of it as possible.
  7. Repeat on other side.
  8. Once your done apply a bit of the the serum making sure to focus on the end comb through. Air dry or blow dry making sure to use a heat protectant first and style as desired.

I'm in the Beauty Supply Store, What Hair Should I Buy?

FAQ's on how to purchase the best hair from a beauty supply store.

Often another big question that I get and I will always ask what style do you want? and how long do you want it to last?

Why its important?

The type of hair that you purchase effects the quality of how your style will look, be maintained, is cut, and curled.

What are the best Human Hair brands in my opinion?

Premium Now by Sensationnel
Janet

MilkyWay

Now all of these companies have different collections for instance Sensationnel is the company but Premium Now is the collection. Most beauty supply stores  store their 100% Human Hair behind the counter and of course it can be pretty pricey.

The different types of hair include 100% Human Hair, Human hair quality, Premium hair blend, Human hair natural blend, master mix, synthetic etc.

  • Anytime it says blend anywhere on the packaging you will know its not 100% Human Hair
EX: 100% Human Hair Blend
  • Anytime there is anything written after 100% Human hair it is not 100% Human Hair
EX: 100% Human Hair Quality
  • Anytime it says mix on the packaging it is not human hair.
EX: Master Mix 100% Human Hair

Again it does depend on how long you want it to last and the style...

2-4 Weeks -100% Human Hair Master Mix, I recommend Que by Milky Way its not expensive and pretty good when it comes to cutting and styling.

4-8 Weeks -100% Human Hair, I recommend any of the companies and the collections I mentioned earlier in this post.

8-16 Weeks- I recommend Virgin or Remy Hair.

You may also purchase the same hair in the beauty supply stores online at a bargain at Alliexpress.com.

Sleek Ponytail with My Sew-In!

Hey Huns!

Want to know how I achieved this look? Read below!
This look is best achieved with an all natural Sew-In.
  1. Apply a light base heat protectant serum to all of your hair, focusing on the ends.
  2. Flat iron the hair bone straight focusing on separate sections. The flat iron your own hair as well as edges.
  3. Apply a gel or edge pomade of your choice to your edges but leave the lower side sections near your ears.
  4. Brush all of the hair back and secure with a ponytail holder.
  5. Flat iron the lower side edges slightly curling in.

And presto!

How to Purchase Hair Online or from Aliexpress.com

How To Purchase Hair Online From Alliexpress.com

Tips, Do's, and Don'ts...

Hey ladies this is a question I get a lot.

The hair I currently have in is from Alliexpress.com, it is mainly a online wholesale company in China therefore, you will find plenty of people selling virgin hair or any hair for that matter (they sell anything you can think of). So here are some tips for purchasing hair online.

First off I purchased my hair from the Vendor Luffy and I did a lot of research before doing so. It is grade A 100% human virgin Brazilian body wave, you can purchase from any vendor you like. I like the hair but I don't love it, I will explain why in another post.

  • Do go through as many of the comments possible before purchasing from a vendor. Keep in mind that just because a vendor has a satisfactory rating of 100% does not mean the product is good. Try to look at HOW MANY people have rated the product and then the satisfactory rating because a vendor can have 100% but 5 raters. Ex: 256 Feedback -92.5% Positive Feedback Vs. 60 Feedback -96% Positive Feedback
  • DON'T purchase from vendors with a positive feedback rating below 85%
  • Do look at the pictures of the hair thoroughly and make sure it reads grade A hair.
  • Do read all of the product and shipping information. What will the vendor do if the product is not up to your standard? What if you dislike the product? Make sure these questions are answered before buying. Alliexpress has a really good policy on this because the vendor does not get PAID until you receive the items.
  • Do make sure each bundle is 100 grams or higher.
  • Do try to research how fast the company ships its items.
After you receive the hair...

  • I highly recommend that you wash it. Think about it this hair comes from a factory thousands and thousands of miles away from you, it is off of another persons head that lives further than where it is made. So they cut Ms. Peruvians hair (thank you Miss) and then ship that (I'm guessing) to a factory in China where its on an assembly line of people placing the hair on wefts and....ya ya get it.. Once I received my hair and began to wash it I could literally see the dirt rinsing away.
  • To wash the hair or your on hair for that matter use a shampoo that is paraben free and especially sulfate free so that the hair is not compromised and condition it very well. Air drying is best, but if you choose to blow please use a heat protectant. Treat it like your hair it is real!
  • ALERT: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES confirm your order if it is not the hair you purchased, missing a bundle, or the wrong lengths even if you contact the vendor and they state so. They will receive their money upon your confirmation and there is no guarantee that they will fix the problem. Just return the hair and ask them to send what you PAID for.
